1. Receipts

My work from the last year uses the language of reciepts to transmit deeply troubling facts about our society. My hope to disseminate the information as a talking point for developing effective strategies to resist and counter the problems of capitalism.

The original series of 30 was posted to my Instagram stories over the course of 30 consectutive days in early 2022. It started as a way for me to share my research and vent my frustration about the economic challenges facing artists. In the beginning I included quotes about morality and privacy issues, but soon narrowed it down to statements dealing directly with money. This is an ongoing project expanding in form and scope.
